A Cataweb Online S.L. Tip For Getting Listed On Google In Under 24 Hours

Going through the normal channels and following the rules step-by-step is good, and highly recommended by Cataweb Online S.L. for beginners, of course. But if you want to get your site listed on Google's index soon after you've launched it means waiting for weeks! Why is that? Because the usual step for doing that would be to head over to Google's "Add your URL to Google" page at http://www.google.com/addurl.html. They've got the submission form right there, and included in the instructions is the notice that it can take up to 6 weeks for your site to be indexed. Now in the fast-paced world of Web 2.0, 6 weeks is a lifetime! And then you'll still have to climb up the rankings once your blog is in their index.

So what can you do to shorten your period of search engine inactivity? Well, it's a relatively simple procedure, although it does have its own inherent difficulties. The first thing you should do to get your site indexed within 24 hours is to use Google to search for the results to the broadest possible keyword related to your site. As an example, let's say you've been marketing a weight loss book and you've made a site with the keywords of "weight loss stories", "weight loss pictures" and "safe weight loss". So what you need to do is search for the results of the keyword "weight loss", and then browse through the websites that come up, paying attention to their Google Page Rank. You can see that statistic when you download the Google toolbar for your browser, and I highly recommend that you do it.

A website with a Page Rank of 5 or higher is what you're looking for, and once you've found several of these, you should check out whether or not they have any link pages, as well as contact information. Then all that's left to do is to reach out through them through email and see if they would like to link to your website in return for you linking to them. This is where the hard part comes in, because not a lot of sites that are already ranking high would want to link back to a new upstart website, and a potential competitor at that. But if you can convince any site with a Page rank of 5 to link to your site, you will be indexed in 3 days, and if the site's Page Rank is 6, you'll be on the index in less than 24 hours!

Once you're there, there are more lessons to be learned, from Cataweb Online S.L. and other authoritative sources!
